How do I adjust the Saybrook® Body Pillow?
Start by unzipping the outer bamboo cover and the inner lining. You can then remove as much filling as you want. The more filling you remove, the lower the loft and the softer the pillow.
What are the dimensions of the body pillow?
The Saybrook® Body Pillow is 54''x18'' (4.5 feet long).
What is the filling made from?
Saybrook® uses a special blend called Lion Down Alternative®. It is notably not made from real lions or real down as we are a cruelty-free company. Lion Down Alternative® contains precision-cut memory foam, microfiber plumes, and silicone gel beads. The memory foam provides viscoelastic support while the microfiber plumes mimic the softness of down. The silicone gel beads help with passive temperature control.
Is the memory foam CertiPUR-US® certified?
Yes, our memory foam is CertiPUR-US® tested and certified.
How do I take care of my Saybrook® Body Pillow?
We recommend using a pillowcase on top of the bamboo cover in order to keep the pillow clean. You can also machine-wash the bamboo cover on a delicates setting. We do not recommend washing the memory foam itself because memory foam can take a long time to dry. By using a pillowcase and washing the bamboo cover, the inner foam should not require washing.
Do you recommend using a pillowcase with the Body Pillow?
Yes, we recommend using a pillowcase on top of the bamboo cover to keep the cover protected. In fact, in the hospitality industry, it is best practice to use two layers of pillowcases to keep the pillows clean.
Does the Saybrook® Body Pillow use the same materials as the Saybrook® Adjustable Pillow?
Yes, the filling is the same, high-quality blend of memory foam, microfiber, and silicone gel that is well-loved in the Adjustable Pillow. Saybrook® uses Lion Down Alternative® in both the Adjustable Pillow and the Body Pillow.
The Bamboo Cover on the Body Pillow is also the same, luxurious fabric.
